Week 1: Meredith Judson, Lena Clemens, Leah Beseda, Ava Wallace, and Riley Gaynor as our runners of the week this week. Congratulations also go out to our medalists Sydney Gallagher, Sarah Weldon, and Jordyn Hopgood in the varsity race and Nicole Jurado (individual champion), Blake Wervery, and Zoe Kippley in the open race.

Congratulations to Laura Nijhuis, as she has been selected as Athlete of the Week.  Laura finished second out of 56 players at the Solon Sectional Tournament, qualifying for Districts.  She won four consecutive matches over tough competition to advance to the title match.  Laura boasts a 21-12 record in singles play this season and has

Congratulations to Sydney Gallagher, as she has been named Athlete of the Week.  Sydney, a junior cross country runner, has been a key part of the girls continued success this season.  Sydney turned in a 5th place finish at Glenoak, 12th place finish at Mentor, and a top 15 finish this past weekend at Stow.
