The girls swimming and diving team took home the 16-team sectional title at the University of Akron on Saturday. In remarkable fashion, every female athlete that competed in the sectional meet advanced to the district meet. Mckenzie DeWitt continued her fast times in the pool, as she took home a pair of sectional titles in the 50 free and 100 fly. Paige McCormick was fastest in the pool in the 500 free, while Giovanna Cappabianca took home the win in the 200 IM. Eliana Szabo also had a great meet as she finished runner up in the 100 free and third in the 200 free. Check out additional Explorers below who turned in strong swims and advanced.
