The football team moved to 2-1 in Suburban League play, and 3-3 overall, with a win on Friday night over Nordonia. Behind another strong offensive line performance from Kevin Toth, Chris Slater, Orion Beh, Mason McLaughlin, Evan Knipp, Calvin Schuellerman, and Colin Koennecke, Jacob Paltani rushed for a record tying five touchdowns and 188 yards. Drew Lightner also added a touchdown and 64 yards rushing. The defense also turned in a strong performance, forcing six turnovers. James Peel snagged a pair of interceptions, while Adam Oscarson and Colin Pierce each added another. Dane DiGeronimo and Tyler Scherer recovered fumbles for the Explorers. The team is back in action on Friday night as they head to North Royalton to take on the Bears. Kickoff is set for 7pm. Roll Hud!
