The football team notched a home win over the visiting Magics on Friday night at Memorial Stadium. Jacob Paltani did Jacob Paltani things, racking up 323 yards of total offense, and 3 total scores. Drew Lightner found the end zone early and often, hitting pay dirt three times, behind 84 yards on the ground. Aiden Lal rushed for 40 yards and grabbed three passes for 28 yards. Colin Pierce and Luke McLaughlin each scored receiving touchdowns for the Explorers, behind 77 and 46 yard efforts, respectively. Cade Tonozzi snagged 4 balls for 48 yards. The 47-point outburst was again attributed to strong play up front by Koennecke, Slater, Toth, Movshin, and Beh. Ryan Evans snared on interception on the defensive side, while Jonathan Heisa turned in another strong game leading the unit all over the field. With the win, the Explorers moved to 3-0.

The team heads to Wadsworth to take on the Grizzlies Friday night at Art Wright Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7pm. Roll Hud!
