The field hockey team fell to Bishop Watterson on Saturday afternoon in the State Championship at Thomas Worthington High School. The girls turned in a strong effort in the championship, but couldn’t get into a rhythm offensively against a stingy Watterson defense.
The girls finish the season with a record of 17-4 and a number of accolades, including a NEOFHL Championship, District Championship, and a State Runner-up finish. Marita Johnson also set the single season goals scored record, and head coach, Louise Knox, was named the OHSAA Field Hockey Coach of the Year. Best of luck to our tremendous senior class, who finishes with a pair of state runner up trophies (2018, 2020) and a lasting legacy on the program. Thank you for your leadership and all that you have done. You all have so much to be proud of! Congratulations to all and best of luck!
Truly an amazing season!
Roll Hud!
