The boys’ golf team concluded their remarkable season with a 10th place finish in Columbus at the OSU Scarlet Course in the State Tournament. The team went toe to toe with the best teams and golfers in the state for two days in Columbus as they took on the challenging course and ever-changing conditions. Coop Pamer paced the Explorers as he finished T18 behind a 2 day score of 154 (79, 75). Ben Basta came home T55 behind a 169 (89, 90). Andrew Yard was close behind, as he finished T58 with a 171 (81, 90). Jackson Choi finished T63, shooting a 177 (92, 85). Josh Pethel finished T66 with a 178 (91, 87).

Along with a top 10 finish in the state, the boys wrap up their tremendous 2020 campaign with: 8 top 3 tournament finishes, a runner up finish in the Suburban League, a Suburban League Tournament #2 title, a Pfeiffer Invitational Title (behind the second lowest score in 44 years), 4th place Sectional Tournament finish, and a runner-up finish at the District Tournament shooting a school record low – 299.

Congratulations to our golfers, coaches, and families on a tremendous season. You have represented yourself with class every step of the way and made us all proud. Great job and Roll Hud!
