The baseball team opened the 2021 season with a win over visiting Massillon Perry on Monday March 29. Jack Florig earned the win, going 4.2 innings and scattering 4 hits and one run, while striking out 6. Johnny MacKay picked up the save , pitching 2.1 innings of scoreless relief, while giving up just one hit and striking out a batter. MacKay went 1/2 at the plate and also drove in a pair of runs. Connor Rubin, Wyatt Prado, Preston Surace and Ben Sage all added hits for the Explorers, wth Sage picking up an RBI.
