What do you enjoy most about coaching? I enjoy having the opportunity to see athletes grow in their confidence and accomplish things that they never thought they could along with encouraging them to work to become the best version of themselves that they can be. I also really enjoy working with my two assistant coaches, Casey Feitshans and Eric Standley.

What is your best memory/proudest moment as a coach? There are so many! The last two cross country state meets are awesome memories, as are the last two track state meets. In general, though, I would say I am most proud any time any of our girls has a breakthrough race that leads to a PR; it is really incredible to think about helping someone to become the best they have ever been and these are moments that I cherish.

What goals do you have for your program? First and foremost, we want our girls to be great human beings who are kind, passionate, and persevering. We also want every girl on our team to grow as a runner every year and to become a lifelong runner after they graduate. We like to say we strive to grow good runners and great people.
