Girls Varsity Swimming & Diving · Girls Swimming & Diving 5th at State Meet


The girls swimming and diving team concluded an awesome 2020-21 season with a 5th place finish at the State Meet.  The 400 Free Relay team of Carrie Caniglia, Eliana Szabo, Lucy Reber, and Mackenzie DeWitt raced to a 2nd place finish.  The 200 Free Relay team of Peyton Binns, Caniglia, Szabo, and DeWitt earned a 3rd place finish.  Mackenzie DeWitt took home 3rd place in the 100 Back, while earning a 4th place finish in the 100 Fly.  Lucy Reber took home 4th place in the 200 IM, and finished in 12th place in the 100 Back.  Olivia Pisano notched a 4th place finish in the 500 Free.  Marisa Schenkenberger finished in 9th place in the 200 IM, and 16th in the 100 Breast.  Carrie Caniglia finished in 16th in the 50 Free, while Eliana Szabo finished in 16th in the 100 Free.  In all, the girls recorded 11 all-state swims en route to their 5th place finish.  Combined with the boys 7 all state swims, the 18 total program all-state swims are a state meet record at HHS!

The girls wrap up the 2020-21 season with a remarkable resume; Suburban League Champions (unbeaten in dual meet action), Sectional Champions, District Champions, 5th place at the State Meet.  The 5th place finish is the girls’ 10th straight top 10 finish at the State Meet.
